Mindfulness-based meditation

You are invited to join an established mindfulness-based meditation group sitting in the tradition of the late Thich Nhat Hanh, who some people call the Father of Mindfulness. It’s an opportunity to come home to ourselves by practicing mindfulness with other experienced friends, but no experience is necessary. Newcomers and visitors to Bend are welcome. Bring a friend. ADA accessible. Our times together include intros, a reflection, two sitting sessions, an exercise meditation, and a confidential discussion period to share about your experience of practicing mindfulness in your daily life. Padded chairs are provided but if you sit on a cushion or bench, please bring it and a yoga pad for your knees to rest on. There is plenty of off-street parking. Enter thru the front door where someone will greet you. Please try to arrive early so you can settle into your place. It will be led by Tree, an ex-monastic with over 25 years’ experience in leading meditation groups. He will offer some meditation instructions focusing on how to practice mindfulness and peace in our lives.
